Donna graduated with a BA in design, then worked five years with the federal government for GSA design and construction
division In Washington, DC. When she married, she and her husband were with the U.S. Department of State, so during most of their married life,

Mark Braley and his family moved to the Coachella Valley in 1965 from Chicago, Illinois, where his family helped run the family owned
Hotel Indio. Mark graduated from Indio High School in 1981, and eventually followed his father onto the City of Indio Fire Department.
Mark spent 20 years in the fire service working for the Indio Fire Department and CAL FIRE. In 2004 Mark and his wife of nineteen years
